No More E.L.A.

I am no longer working at the East Los Angeles Court. My 90-day-rotation ended on September 5, 2008. I learned a lot in E.L.A., and I met some great people. I miss E.L.A. already.
Here are some memorable E.L.A. moments:
1. Sharing an office with Melissa. ("Hey Melissa, what plan are we on today?")
2. So many 1538 Motions in Dept. 2
3. The judge granted anoher 991?
4. Lunch under the Coffee Bean Umbrellas
5. Tuna at Quiznos and carne asada tacos
6. Defendant throwing a chair at the judge
7. The earthquake
8. My first prelims
9. "Oh, so now you found Jesus so you want to tell the truth?"
10. Edgar saying, "I want her to be my baby's mama."
11. "Sir, are you pleading no guilty or no contest freely and voluntarily?"
12. Don't forget to ask for a stipulation
13. She is crushing my spirit
14. Mr. Hollywood's glasses
15. Cynthia's ELA jury duty

This is a lot of "inside" stuff. Sorry to those who don't understand. It's an E.L.A. thing. =p
