Honeymoon-Part II

We made it to South Africa!
we

We went to Nelson Mandela's old home, which they turned into a museum. The People of South Africa have the utmost respect for Nelson Mandela for all he did for the country.

And many others who also fought and struggled for freedom, and democracy.

I love all the vibrant colors behind Josh.

Honeymoon-Part I

We went on our honeymoon back in November, and I am FINALLY blogging about it now. But, hey, better late than never, right?

We went to South Africa for our honeymoon. It was my idea. I've always wanted to go there. I wanted to go on a Safari and see all the animals. It was a 20-hour flight with a layover in Zurich, Switzerland. We walked around Zurich for a little over an hour.

The air was cold and crisp. And since we went when Christmas was just around the corner, the airport were decked out with Christmas lights.

And...It was my birthday, November 17. I turned 30 something in Zurich, Switzerland. Then I found this poster to document the day. I thought it was pretty cool. :)

We grabbed a quick bite before we had to catch our next plane to South Africa. Fish and Chips. Yum!

WE DiD IT Party!!!

Since Josh and I went off to get married by ourselves you can imagine the sad parents, family members and friends we had on our hands. We love our family and friends very much, but Josh and I wanted to get married privately and intimately...Nothing fancy...Just us.

But of course we wanted to share our union with our family and friends so we had a "WE DID IT PARTY" on 11.12.11.

(Josh's family and my family)

(Josh's CHP friends...Cool dudes!)

(Some of my girls...Very cool gals!)

(Judy, Me and Lillian...Love these girls!)

It was a blast. We really feel so blessed to have such an awesome family and wonderful friends. It nearly brought me to tears to see how all the people that we love and care about in one place celebrating with us.

We are the two luckiest people ever!

I shall leave you with a clip of our first dance. :)

I married the man of my dreams, the love of my life, my best friend, Josh.

We wanted something very intimate. So we went off to San Luis Obispo and got married on 9.10.11 on the beach...Just me, Josh, an officiant, a photographer, and a videographer. It was an amazing day.

Josh, I love you with my whole entire heart!
