Honeymoon-Part III (Safaris)

I thought that going on a Safari was going to be like the National Geographic Channel coming to life: Lions chasing down zebras and clawing and tearing them apart. I know, pretty gruesome, but it's nature. In a lot of ways, the safaris were like the national geographic channel since we got to see so many animals roaming around. But sorry to report we did not see any lions chasing down zebras. But we did see lions and we did see zebras among many many other awesome creatures.
we had to leave at 4:30 a.m. to start the morning safari
Beautiful South African morning
We had to follow the dung to track down the animals
The first elephant we saw. We were so excited!
Baboon
Alligator
Birds Nests
Huge bugs rolling their nest made out of dung
Turtle

Crazy looking thing
Zebras
Giraffe
Water Buffalos
Rhinos

Hyena
And of course, the king himself!
And his family

I've heard some say that the Garden of Eden must have been in Africa due to the vast array of creatures and fauna. I think they may be right.
